Movement lessons
Neuromovement uses movement of the body to induce changes in the brain – in other words: learning. That is why we call our sessions ‘movement lessons’.
Usually, depending on what is comfortable, the client lies on their back, stomach or side, on a treatment table. Movement lessons can also be given in standing or while seated on a chair. Often the practitioner uses their hands to move parts of the client’s body. Sometimes they give verbal instructions for the client to execute. Sometimes the two are combined.
What to wear
During movement lessons, the client remains fully clothed. Only the shoes are removed. If you are not wearing any, please bring socks. Sometimes we remove them for a moment.
For movement lessons, loose-fitting and comfortable clothing is best. For ladies, pants are preferred to a skirt or dress. Een hood will probably get in the way.
